What types of surfaces can I clean with the Swiftvein Vortex?
The Vortex is perfect for carpets, rugs, sofas, chairs, car seats, mattresses, and other upholstered furniture. Always test on a small area first if unsure.
Can I use any cleaning solution?
You can also use other low-foaming carpet or upholstery cleaners. Just make sure to avoid high-foam products, bleach, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the unit or leave residues. A small bottle of our Swiftvein cleaning agent is also included with the carpet cleaner.
What is the best water temperature to use?
For the best results, use warm water (ideally around 30–40°C). Do not use boiling or very hot water, as temperatures above 40°C may damage internal components or warp the tanks in the long term.
Is it easy to clean the device?
Yes! Just use the self-cleaning attachment to flush the hose and empty and rinse both tanks, wipe the exterior. Let all parts dry before storing.
How long does it take for surfaces to dry after cleaning?
Drying time varies by fabric type and ventilation, but most surfaces dry within 30 minutes and 4 hours. For faster drying, ventilate the room or use a fan.
My Vortex is leaking, what should I do?
If your Vortex appears to be leaking, first check that both the clean and dirty water tanks are properly seated and securely closed. Make sure the tanks are not overfilled and that the rubber seals are clean and undamaged. A small amount of water around the nozzle or hose after use is normal, especially if the machine was recently emptied. If leaking continues during operation or storage, please contact our support team for troubleshooting or replacement parts.
